Due Date
I had very high expectations for the show as this was the director and team behind last year's surprise comedy hit, The Hangover. Another reason is because of Robert Downey Jr. There is so much likability factor to this movie that even though it fails to entertain me as much as I hope it did, it thought this was not a bad movie overall.
Credits have to go to Robert Downey Jr as he was the only interesting thing to watch in the first half of the show. There wasn't much to laugh about in the beginning and it was all down to Downey's acting to sustain the movie. The pace only picked up in the middle after they were on the road for quite a bit. You probably would be able to understand this movie and the jokes better if you were american.

Unstoppable
This is a very serious, true-story drama about a runaway train. It is kind of difficult for me to understand how this works because we don't have trains in Singapore (at least i've never seen any!) but basically this fast moving train is very dangerous. So 2 man went on another train and tried to be hero and save this runaway train from derailing in highly populated towns.
There was a side story line about how Chris Pine was not allowed to see his wife and kids because he lets his jealousy get to the better of him and did things which he shouldn't. Guess humans all have some form of jealousy in them. Good thing for him though, his wife forgave him after his heroic deed :)

The Social Network
This movie lost me in the beginning. I really am a very very lousy person with regards to technological stuff and computers...etc. I just couldn't catch what the guy was talking about with his girlfriend in the beginning. But anyway, i think facebook was founded because of this girl?? The stupid things a person would do for someone he likes.
This movie also shows the ugly side of humanity because besides telling the stories of how facebook was set up, it is also telling the story about 2 lawsuits that came together with the rise of facebook. The first lawsuit was about IP rights, but the second was against a co-founder of facebook. It is kind of ugly how things turn out. All you need is some people giving their opinion and people could just turn against their best friends. The sad truth about life? I guess soo, the cruel truth about life :(
